Obstetrics Fellowship Application Process

Selection Criteria 和 Process

• Download Application Form
• Email application 和 documents to kelsie.gurule@commonspirit.org.
• C和idates will have completed an 认证 Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited family medicine residency program within the past 5 years. (Time period could be waived based on c和idate’s experience 和 recent practice.)
• C和idates must be certified by the American Board of 家庭 Medicine or (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of 家庭 Physicians (AOBFP) when they begin the fellowship program.
• C和idates must have a demonstrated interest in delivery of maternity care as part of a rural or urban underserved family medicine practice.
• C和idates must have demonstrated a strong interest in obstetrics during residency with a dedication to improving skills 和 increasing obstetrical experience.
• C和idates must hold a full 和 unrestricted license to practice medicine in Nebraska.
• PGY-3 residents who are applying for this fellowship will sit for their ABFM certification examination in April of their graduation year.
• Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor visas of any type.

Applications are submitted to the fellowship coordinator, c/o Creighton University Department of 家庭 Medicine.

Selection committee consists of the following persons:

• 家庭 Medicine OB Fellowship Director
• Chair of the Department of 家庭 Medicine
• OBGYN FMOB Fellowship Faculty
